We decided a while back that this would be a great time to use some of our vacation time to spend extended time in PA visiting with my family and taking the kids to some of the fun attractions near by. Today the plan: Dutch Wonderland. We knew there was potential for major disaster, given the fact that they only opened up at 10 and Gavin usually goes down for a nap at 12-12:30. I'm happy to report, it was a relative success. We had some melting going on and were on our way home by 3. But, the kids were able to ride most of the rides that they were tall enough to ride and I think we were all ready to get out of the heat! Both Caylin and Gavin did not meet a ride they didn't like. In fact, the melt downs mentioned above occurred when Gavin had to leave the ride. However, he typically got over it when another ride came into view.
